PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Technical Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering technical and product training to the sales team within an electrical wholesale environment. The role will ensure that sales staff have the technical knowledge, product understanding, and practical confidence required to effectively advise customers, recommend appropriate solutions, and drive sales. Key Responsibilities Technical & Product Training Develop and deliver technical training programmes for internal sales staff. Provide comprehensive training on electrical products, equipment, systems, and applications. Ensure sales staff understand product specifications, features, benefits, applications, and limitations. Translate complex technical information into practical, easy-to-understand sales knowledge. Train staff on new products, product ranges, product upgrades, and supplier innovations. Conduct practical demonstrations where appropriate. Keep training material up to date with changes in products, technology, standards, and industry practices. Sales Enablement Equip sales staff with the technical knowledge required to confidently engage with customers.
