The role ensures the safe, reliable, and legally compliant operation of the fleet through adherence to maintenance standards, transport legislation, fleet management processes, and safety requirements. The incumbent contributes to fleet availability, operational reliability, asset integrity, and continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with company procedures, legal requirements, and Enablon reporting standards.  Key Accountabilities Apply and maintain safety standards in the working environment, with specific focus on Dangerous Goods vehicles and transport operations. Participate in daily toolbox talks, safety meetings, and work planning discussions. Carry out work according to approved maintenance plans and schedules. Provide feedback to supervisors on work progress, identified defects, and maintenance requirements. Support preventative and corrective maintenance activities on vehicles, trailers, tankers, and associated fleet equipment. Conduct routine vehicle, trailer, and equipment inspections to identify defects and support fleet reliability. Identify faults and report abnormalities to ensure safe and reliable fleet operations. Participate in root cause analyses and provide input relating to equipment failures and recurring defects. Ensure maintenance activities comply with company procedures, transport regulations, and safety requirements. Maintain good housekeeping standards in workshops, depots, maintenance facilities, and work areas.
