About the job
The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For
- Safe and proper operating of spiral and tunnel freezers;
- Assist artisans and controllers with basic freezer maintenance;
- Perform start up checks to ensure freezers are operational;
- Defrosting and de- icing of freezers;
- Completion of check sheets;
- Reporting of all freezer maintenance issues;
- General housekeeping of freezer and surrounding areas.
The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements
- Matric preferable;
- Relevant technical working experience with freezers;
- Be self-motivated and self-disciplined;
- Have sober habits;
- Must adhere to all relevant regulations as applicable to the industry;
- Experience in the Food Processing Industry would be an added advantage;
- Must be prepared to work overtime, shifts, weekends and public holidays.
