The successful candidate will leverage their instrumentation engineering knowledge to maintain data integrity, support engineering projects, provide system governance, and ensure effective utilization of SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) across the business. The role requires a strong understanding of instrumentation engineering principles combined with experience in engineering data management and SmartPlant Instrumentation administration.Key Accountabilities Engineering Application Support Provide application support and administration for SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI). Configure and maintain SPI data structures, reference data, standards, and application settings. Investigate and resolve application-related issues raised by users. Liaise with engineers, technicians, project teams, and external service providers regarding SPI requirements and support activities. Support system upgrades, testing, migrations, and implementation activities. Instrumentation Data Management Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of instrumentation engineering data. Support the creation, maintenance, and governance of instrument indexes, loop diagrams, hook-ups, cable schedules, and related deliverables. Perform data quality reviews and audits to ensure compliance with engineering standards. User Support and Training Provide technical guidance and support to engineering users. Develop and maintain works instructions, procedures, and user documentation. Governance and Compliance Manage user access and security in accordance with company governance requirements.
