CLEANER LEVEL 2

Requirements: Adult education and training (AET/ABET) LEVEL 3 or equivalent (Grade 7). No experience required. Skills/Knowledge/Competence Basic understanding of Policies (Batho Pele Principles, Patients Right Charter, Occupational Health and Safety, Six Priorities and National Core Standards). Knowledge of cleaning procedures and basic knowledge of the health systems. Good listening skills, interpersonal skills, communication, observation skills, and organization skills. Ability to work independently and harmoniously within a team. Ability to act with tact and discretion. Must be self-motivated. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of Labour Relations processes. Ability to handle tasks of multidisciplinary nature. Must be prepared to work shifts which includes, fixed, after hours, night duty, weekends and public holidays. Must be able to operate cleaning equipment and machines. Duties: Cleaning of floors (sweep, mop and buffing with cleaning machines). Cleaning of walls, windows, doors and window frames, bathrooms, showers and lockers, dusting, washing and polishing furniture. Cleaning corridors, public toilets, offices, clinics, entrances, stairs, fire escapes, side walls,…
