Academic Programme Manager

An academic programme manager oversees the planning, design, daily administration, and continuous improvement of educational offerings within a Facility or department Job Description • Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse • Nursing Education and / or Assessors Qualification • Master’s qualification is preferred • Grade 12 • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role • Previous experience as a Nurse Educator, Clinical Facilitator • Curriculum development experience is preferred • Knowledge of scope of practice of all Nursing categories as well as the regulations of the South African Nursing Council • Working knowledge of the South African Higher Education regulatory framework • Excellent computer skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with deadlines • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work both independently and as a team member • Must be able to work under pressure Job Requirements • Assist with the formulation and implementation of teaching and learning activities related to nursing staff development. • Ensure that all teaching…
