Cyber Security Defender Facilitator

Job Purpose: To facilitate teaching and learning in Cyber Security, equipping learners with the practical and theoretical skills required to protect digital systems, networks, and data. The facilitator will prepare learners to identify, prevent, and respond to cyber threats, aligning with industry standards and the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Key Responsibilities: 1. Teaching and Facilitation Deliver lessons in Cyber Security, including network security, ethical hacking, and threat detection. Apply learner-centred and practical teaching approaches (e.g., simulations, labs, case studies). Facilitate both theoretical knowledge and hands-on technical skills. Use real-world cyber threat scenarios to enhance learning. 2. Curriculum Implementation Interpret and implement relevant TVET curricula (NC(V), NATED, or occupational programmes). Develop lesson plans, digital learning materials, and practical lab activities. Integrate current cyber security tools, frameworks, and technologies. 3. Assessment and Moderation Design and administer assessments (formative and summative). Evaluate learner competence in both theory and practical tasks.
